So, these days seems to be filled with lots of things to do... but they have proved to be some of my favorite days of being preggo :) I think that now that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel I am getting more and more excited as each day passes. I have been feeling so much energy, sleeping much better, and trying to take it one day at a time! I think Ray and I have both finally gotten into a routine now as well.
We cleaned out the baby room last week. Ray, and Barrett's great grandpa put the crib and the dresser together. They look amazing! It's exciting to finally be getting things together for our little boy's room!
We have been extremely blessed by so many people with little boy clothes... that are completely adorable! :) So, they are now in the laundry basket ready to be washed...once I catch up on our laundry! But I love to walk by the washer and see the little clothes!
Then I walked into the guest room and found this tiny pair of socks under the chair. Its the little things in life :)Many of you know that my dear hubby loves shoes :) Well, his little boy is following in his footsteps already. The top of Barrett's closet is already full of little shoes... placed just like daddy's :)
Another fave... seeing my husband in a SNULGI :) haha... how hot is he?? :)
Since I was 12 weeks preggo I have been putting this lovely Palmer's lotion and oil on. I literally get into my bed all greased up. :) But, so far, so good! I have heard so many different things that are supposed to work, but I'm just praying that my skin can stretch enough for the next few weeks!
Ok, don't freak out... I'm reading BABYWISE with a VERY open mind. :) I have had several friends glean much good from this book and several friends that hate to even mention it. It is my bathtub reading for the moment... and it has taught me alot about breast-feeding! I'll take the good and leave the bad! If I go by his wake and sleep schedule now, we'll be up ALL the time :)
And, though we never purchased the expensive pregnant body pillow (haha)... I use my regular body pillow and my Tempurpedic pillow to make a little nest for myself. Ray can barely find me under all the pillows :) But I am VERY comfy these days!
So with about 7 1/2 weeks left, I am HAPPY! I have felt so much peace lately! I am so thankful for so many things... that my heart can barely contain it!
We are headed to Staunton for a baby shower this weekend! I can't wait to see all my friends and family :) I am so blessed that so many people love my little family!

thanks for the update. His room is cute already and I love all the shoes!
We use Babywise and LOVE it! Tristan started sleeping through the night around 8 weeks (8 hours) and is now up to 12 hours (4 months). It seemed like a natural thing for him...so good luck as you try it! I hope it works just as well for the two of you!

They kind of fall into their own eat, sleep, and wake schedule-- I burned babywise it ruined Luke haha. He still is not a good sleeper- my mom warned me to listen when they cry especially when little. Keep em near ya- that first 3 months is the fourth trimester :) I did a paper on healthy co-sleeping if you want to read it! haha I let sophia flow into what worked for her and me- and she sleeps wonderfully. You'll figure it out
